Cut where each feed cuts it
Posty writes each post’s caption for every platform you use, in seven styles: classic, short and punchy, question hook, checklist, offer first, fun, and professional. It keeps each one inside that platform’s limit and shows what people read before they tap “more”. Here is one caption, as eight feeds show it.

A reel, timed to the second
Give Posty a topic and a goal and it writes six hooks, splits the reel into timed beats and adds a shot list and a filming checklist. Here is a 30-second, hands-only tutorial on sourdough.
| Time | Beat | Say or show | Shot |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 to 3 s | Hook | Nobody tells you this about sourdough. | Top-down: the finished result first, then a quick whip to the start |
| 3 to 6 s | Setup | Here’s what actually works. | Top-down: everything laid out |
| 6 to 9 s | Tip one | One: [name it in a few words]. [One line on what to do or why it works.] | Top-down: hands doing the step |
| 9 to 12 s | Tip one | On screen: 1. [tip in 3 to 5 words] | Close-up: the key moment of the step |
| 12 to 18 s | Tip two | Two: [name it]. [One line on why it works.] | Top-down, then a close-up |
| 18 to 24 s | Tip three | Three: [name it]. [One line on why it works.] | Top-down, then a close-up |
| 24 to 27 s | Payoff | Do these and [the result your audience wants]. | Top-down: everything laid out, after |
| 27 to 30 s | Call to action | Follow for part 2: [next topic]. | Top-down: the finished result, slow push in |
Six ways to open it
Nobody tells you this about sourdough.
Curiosity gap3 sourdough mistakes most people make all the time.
Numbered listStop doing sourdough the way the internet told you to.
ContrarianPOV: sourdough finally clicks.
POVThis is what sourdough looks like done right. Here’s how.
Result firstIf sourdough keeps going wrong for you, this is probably why.
Pain point
Before you film
- Shoot vertical, 9:16 at 1080×1920.
- Keep text out of the bottom fifth and the right edge, where the caption and buttons sit.
- Burn in captions. Many people watch with the sound off.
- Change the shot or framing every 2 to 3 seconds.
- Pick a cover frame where the hook text reads at thumbnail size.
- Clear the surface and mount the phone overhead.
Four ways to film it: talking to camera, voiceover on B-roll, a hands-only tutorial, or text on screen. Each gets its own shots.
Picture prompts for any AI
Every post comes with a prompt to paste into Midjourney, DALL·E, Gemini or Firefly. Pick one of twelve visual styles and one of nine moods, and Posty writes the subject, the light and the frame for that platform’s shape.
The nine moods: Brand voice, Warm and friendly, Professional, Witty, Inspiring, Urgent, Storytelling, Educational, Luxurious.
